Why Parents Request Our Services
Following is a non-inclusive list of the issues that have been most frequently brought to us by parents:
Insufficient Academic Progress
- Grades that do not correspond to ability

Special Education Issues - IDEA and Section 504
- Difficulty obtaining an initial IDEA or Section504 Evaluation to determine eligibility
- IEPs
that do not provide an individual program that is reasonably calculated
to enable an IDEA eligible child to make progress appropriate in light
of the child’s circumstances

504 Plans that do not provide the supports, related services, aids, and
accommodations that are needed for their qualified, eligible child with
